articipants who consumed BARLEYMAX® experienced significant increases in stool volume and defecation frequency compared with placebo. The BARLEYMAX® group also showed higher SCFA production – indicators of enhanced fermentation – along with increases in beneficial bacteria such as Bacteroides and reductions in certain Clostridium species. Overall, the results suggest that a modest daily serve of BARLEYMAX® supports healthy intestinal regulation, improves regularity and promotes favourable shifts in gut-microbial activity.
